Reminders through breathwork

Bringing back a message that came to me during a recent breathwork class:

You are the strength & protection you’ve been seeking.

You are doing enough just by being your authentic self.

You don’t have to prove yourself to anyone,

and you don’t need to look anywhere other than yourself for love.

What is breathwork?

Breathwork is a specific type of breathing pattern (there are many) that allows you to sink into your deepest self, feel all of your emotions, and let go. It can bring clarity, much needed messages, and regulates your nervous system. It’s incredible for anxiety + stress relief and helps you sleep like a baby.

What does breathwork do?

Lately I’ve caught myself being extra self-critical for [as I often say] “not doing it all”. We live in a world that’s telling us that if we’re not overachieving, we’re failing. Sometimes we feel like if we’re not a prodigy at something, that it’s not worth doing.

I needed this powerful reminder that I am enough, regardless of where I may feel I’m lacking… that I’m allowed to do things without being perfect at them… that doing something you enjoy for the pure fact that you enjoy it (even if you’re not a professional dancer, author, artist, chef, etc.) is more than enough of a reason to do it.

Being my authentic self means showing up for myself & treating myself with kindness - so that I have the capacity to share that kindness with others.

This is your reminder to take each day one day at a time, to keep breathing through moments when you feel overwhelmed, and remind yourself that you ARE enough just by being you. 💙
